Becks

Post by Simmutch »

Just to let you know how Becks is getting on. We re homed him in early April and after being quite anxious and fearful at first he is settling really well now. He is a fabulous dog, and a joy to walk with - particularly on free runs. A master at retrieving - particularly his beloved sticks. We are having gorgeous walks with him and our old girl - Valerie who is almost fourteen - she just potters along whilst he runs himself ragged. He swims most days and is fearless at diving in!!! Off camping in a few weeks to the seaside - another first I think - should be fun. Will try and work out how to post a picture in the near future - but thanks to all at the Rescue for their assistance in the first week, and thanks for putting Becks our way - should keep us on out toes for many years to come!!

Hello and another warm welcome to the site. :hello2:

Glad you are all enjoying Becks. We adopted Molly when she was 2yrs 4 months old, and introduced her to our old lady Niambh at 14yrs. They got on from the word go, :love6: and Niambh went into her second puppyhood.

Have a great time at the seaside, and hope by the end of it, you manage to post some piccys. It not easy at first, but you will soon get the hang of it.

Glad to hear all is going well with Becks now. Thank you so much for sticking by him during his settling in period as I know it was a little difficult. I am pleased that it has proved to be worthwhile. Happy camping :1963:
