Hello from the North East
Just wanted to say Hi, we are new to this site.
I always said if I didn't work I would get a dog and back in June found myself in the fortunate position of being able to take early retirement.
We live on the outskirts of a small town, close to the countryside and many lovely walks (and very importantly within walking distance to the village where my lovely mare, Clover, is stabled).
We are a family of walkers and climbers so we'll need a dog with energy and a love of life - we think a labrador would be perfect!
Regards
Nicola

Hi Nicola.
Welcome to this very friendly and helpful site. The first thing you need to do if you are interested in a rescue lab is to complete an application form.
We have had two beauties from the rescue, namely, Scooby and Molly. Sadly Scooby has passed to the bridge but Molly is still with us thank God. She was 10 in June but, she is struggling with arthritis now.
If you decide to get a dog from rescue, you can be reassured that you are in the very best of hands. Good luck.

Hi and welcome to the site!
I'm sure you'll find a lab a great companion on your walks (and your rug or sofa on a chilly evening ) so hope that one comes along soon,

Hello Nicola and welcome to this very informative and friendly site. Your home and lifestyle sound absolutely ideal for a Labrador to enjoy. I hope you soon find your new friend, from my experience (over 30 years with labs) they certainly are full of energy and definitely love life
Please keep us posted on your search, as Lins said the first port of call is completing the application form and then talking to one of the rehoming coordinators. Good luck.
