Shelly update 15.1.17

Post by Liz5353 »

On Tuesday Shelly is having dental surgery, as yet we do not know if she will have to have any teeth extracted or the full extent of this, if all goes well she will also have a cyst removed from her eye but this depends on how long the teeth take.
Shelly is 12 and I am really worried but our vet said there was gum disease and she really must have this done, so please can I ask you to think of her. Thank you so much
Love Liz Shelly Bonnie Molly n Polly :love2:

Will be thinking about Shelly, Liz. I'm sure your vet wouldn't take any risks. Try not to worry too much - easier said than done, I know. We all just want them home safe and sound when they have to spend the day at the vets.
I'm sure Shelly will be fine. :bighug:

Thank you everyone for all your positive thought and wishes, Shelly came home late afternoon yesterday, she has had 6 teeth removed and some stitches in her mouth, so very sore. We have not had the best of nights and the other 3 girls routine changed slightly as I was unable to give Shelly anything hard ( treats etc ) so we all missed out!! That does not go down well.
We will see how today goes and we are back at the vets tomorrow, Shelly did not have the eye cyst removed because of the length of time she was under the anaesthetic.
We are all asleep now I am up!!
Love Liz Shelly Bonnie Molly Polly :3517:
