Hello...
Hi,
Our names are Polly and Bill.
Sadly without warning we suddenly lost our Border/Lab, 'Sam' in December. As with many dogs, he was our star, a laugh a day and a real character. Not to mention a genius with tennis balls lol.
The trouble is, there is a gaping hole in our hearts and home. We decided that as 'Sam' was a rescue we should rescue another dog , as a sort of honour to him and also to bring back the mad chaos and fun that our best buddies do best. Yes, we are that daft. So here we are, looking and waiting for 'the one'.

Hi Gina,
Sorry if I have confused you, I've just been approved. I used my birth 'Sunday' name of Pauline Armstrong on the application form, but only my parents call me Pauline. To my hubby and friends I'm Polly and have been since I was 17 :-).

Re: Hello...
Welcome Polly and Bill to this very informative and addictive forum. I'm sorry that you lost your beloved Sam in December and know the gaping hole left behind only too well having suddenly lost my 8 yr old black lab at the end of November. Glenys and team are experts at matching up dogs and owners and I hope it won't be long until you find yourselves adopted:)
Good luck and please let us know how you get on.

Welcome to the site Polly & Bill.
I'm sorry to read that you have had to say goodbye to your special boy Sam and I hope that in time you'll find yourself smiling as you remember his antics and your adventures together. It says much of him and his character that you feel able to honour him by offering a loving home to anther four legged friend and I hope one soon chooses to adopt you.
Sleep tight Sam
