Yes I am surprised he resisted temptation! It reminds me of when Bella was young - she pinched a tray of cooked (I know!) chicken thighs off the worktop! Had about 8 of them all to herself. After I had told her off I was so worried about her - cooked chicken bones have to be the worst, she was fine however!

When Tess was about 2, she managed to nuzzle her nose under the foil for the turley on Christmas day when it was resting and ate virtually one side of it!!!

Strangely she didn't want to eat much for the next few days!!! Everyone else was gutted- but it didn't phase me as I was veggie at the time!!!

And a nose! This was my mum doing her bit for Bob once Malc had "finished" stripping the turkey. We had a lecture on waste! (Never too old to be told off by our mums!).

Jackie, aren't they wonderful. I had Bale on oneside of me and my daughters "mad" springer on the other. It was about the only time they behaved themselves when they were together.

They are wonderful Kath. I can honestly say that Bob made our Christmas extra special, we would have been so sad missing Max if it hadn't been for Bob making us laugh. We still thought of Max, but at least it was without tears. Max's approach at turkey time (ignoring the first Christmas he was with us when he stole a leg), was a very laid back "Hey, they'll give me some soon and if I lie just here, they may fall over me and drop the whole turkey". As you can see, despite it being the first time Bob and my mum had met, they very quickly became the best of friends for some reason!!!

I didn't want to hijack your thread but you are right in thinking Bob is not the only one.My two watched the turkey all the time it was on the table and then watched it leave. getting more desperate the further away it went. (They got lots later though)

Yes. Hovis helps himself to shoes. At the end of the day I usually have 4 or 5 by my chair.He never seem to bring pairs though ,which means the kids can never find them when they want them.He does the same to socks.
