GREETING FROM BRODIE...

Post by kathryn »

Received this update today from Brodie...hankies at the ready.....

Dear all my friends

My new mummy and daddy thought that you might like to know what has happened to me.

Last Friday, they came with my new brother, DIGBY (he was rescued in April 2008), to collect me from the kennels.
Digby and I sat in our special place in the car...........

and then we drove to a place called FORMBY.
Mummy put me on a long black thing called a training lead, which was funny, because she kept on being knotted up!
Digby and I had great fun!

and then they took me to a white box with wheels called a caravan, where we stayed the night.
I kept on giving mummy a tennis ball (at 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock and 6 o'clock.in the morning.........she didn't mind, she gave me a cuddle).

The next day, daddy put the caravan on the back of the car and we went a long way to my new home.
Digby and I went for a lovely run on the beach; it was raining hard but we didn't mind.

The next morning, Sunday, we were back on the beach by 8 o'clock, it was FANTASTIC! (no training lead, I was FREE!!!)
I met a girly who is on holiday called BONNY. We played in the sea,

and had races, I WON every time!
here is a photo of the 3 of us on the beach.

In the evening Digby and I went back again, and we played, and played, and played.........

I think I am going to like it here.........

Thank you to everyone at the kennels for being so kind to me, and to the lady who took me to the park.

Love and Licks

OMG! How embarressing, the tears are flowing and everyone is looking at me! Shown Brodie's message to my colleagues and now everyone is at it!

What a lucky lad, he's really fallen on his paws! I love happy endings!
