Charlie who is now Zak

Post by yvonnej »

Dear All at Lab Rescue

We adopted Charlie October 08 and he has been with us for just over a year now. He didn't know his name so we changed it to a specific sound. If you remeber he was very thin at 23kilo's. He has put on weight and has been neutered and chipped and has 3 walks a day. He walks with Molly who we had rehomed from a family that did not want her and who he got on with from sight at lab rescue. He also walks with Millie and Barney as a pack of 4 (Michelle and Marks dogs (ELLIOTT).

Zak is the sweetest natured little dog in the world. Although he can get over excited when in full play mode and has an awful habit of knocking poor Millie over. It is as though Zak and Molly have always been together, they are a pair of bookends. Zak leaps for joy in snow, eats it and rolls in it.

He is a joy to look after as he only wants to please.
The great pleasure of a dog is that you make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, he will make a fool of himself too.

Thanks all - will upload some piccies as soon as I have got my head round on how to do it. Just taken the 2 out in the snow and it is up to their bellies. Loved it

Hi Yvonne - Lovely to hear about your Zak. Sounds like he really enjoys the snow.
We have a Zac, adopted from MKF in August 09.
