Wonderful update, very amusing.
You really ought to write a book about Anna's adventures!

Re: Anna (Rhianna) off to her new life
Hi Guys,
Time for the March update! I'm a bit disappointed actually that the number of people reading my updates seems to have dwindled significantly - I can tell by the number of replies posted. I shall post this update and if you have all lost interest in me I shall set my PA do doing other things instead!
Well, gundog training has started in earnest in preparation for next season! At first I had to find and carry some dummy things and I also had to learn to sit and wait while Mum threw them. Sometimes she would go and retrieve them herself which is a bit pointless I think, as what am I there for? When I was really good at going and collecting at least three dummy things that were cunningly hidden in the long grass Mum said I could progress on to collecting pigeons - far more exciting - they smell ace!
Mum or Uncle Nick go and hide them in the rough cover and then Mum tells me to "seek dead" so I go and look for them. Mum says she is really impressed with my work as I am so careful and methodical (whatever that means) that I never miss any. Evil hairy brother messes around sniffing and doing things while we do serious training and sometimes he sneaks up and carries a pigeon himself. Who does he think he is - he is a COLLIE not a RETRIEVER!
We also do whistle training so now I know what whistles mean to come back and which one means to sit. I can even do the sit whistle at a distance! Then Mum comes running over to give me a treat as I am so good sitting far away from her. We do whistle work when we are out on our runs and also when we go out with big brother Benjamin. Sometimes we have to sit and stay while Mum and Benjamin run round us then we are allowed to get up and run at heel to Benjamin and then go and play - it's all really exciting!
I wade throught the streams and puddles now and retrieve twigs and things out of them so Mum says when it is warmer she will let me retrieve things from my lake if I want to. Lud says it is ace so I might let him show me.
I have attached some pictures of me working with pigeons and one of Lud and me in the travel capsule with our party frocks and hunting jackets on so you can see them as promised but it is a really rubbish picture as it does not show us off properly. I have requested a better photo and Mum says she will take one if she remembers! What sort of answer is that?!? This is an important request.

Well done Anna. You are a clever girl, and don't you look 'fetching'
with your party frock on.
