Blossom now Millie

Post by Ann Mee »

Hi Guys!

Millie here, Mum has asked me to tell you how i'm getting on so far as this is the longest time she has not been on the website since she joined. Where do I start?! I came back with Mum, Dad and new part-time big sister to the Tarleton Hilton on Thursday. Jess and I played so much we were exhausted. Mum said she had never seen Jess play so much - Ever. Had a bath which was okish and ran round with my spin dryer on soaking everyone. :1968: I was so tired I slept all night and no accidents :thumbright: . Mum was well impressed on Friday morning as she reckons I had more sleep than her. She said she didn't get to sleep till after 1am and was awake again at 4.30am, her excuse being she was worrying about me!

Friday was a bit chaotic, Jess arrived at 8am and all hell broke loose we were so pleased to see one another. Jess's favourite game is squash (pictures to follow tomorrow) as Mum says she's too tired to fathom photobucket again tonight :2019: Mum had to go out to work later in the morning which left Dad in charge :2019: and Dad had to go in the garage to fix a machine so Jess and I were left playing. We have got the game of tig sorted - round the table in the conservatory; Dad said he didn't think it was such a good idea. :1962:

Later in the afternoon Dad came in to change his jeans as he had to go out. While he was upstairs I thought one of his trainers need the Jimmy Choo treatment. I got my pinking shears out and re-modelled the heel area of them. I was very quick and was on my bed with Jess before he came back down. Well when he picked his trainers up there were a few strange words said that I hadn't heard before, Jess said it was swearing and she said she didn't think Dad was best pleased with the alterations :1966: :dontknow: . He didn't shout at us as he didn't know who had done it as we were sat in our beds where he had left us. Dad also says Mum looks like she's been pulled through a hedge backwards. Mum says is it any wonder having had no dogs to 2 in as many days! We will be fine though she says.

Had another great day today; have had a long walk on Tarleton Moss with Mum and Jess, and another walk after tea. I also embarrassed Mum at the vet today saying hello to everyone in my loudest voice; they all knew I was there! I had an injection, my temperature taken (weird) and my dew claw nails cut. The vet lady said I am a bit underweight but I should soon put some weight on. Mum won't let me off the lead yet as she loves me sooo much and doesn't want to lose me. So we are working on that any tips for her are welcome.

Mum has to do the Tesco run tomorrow as we are almost out of food (well I am anyway) i've told her I will help her to unpack it, we will go for walks and maybe a trip to Pets at Home if we can fit it all in. I am very happy and I know Mum Dad big brother Andrew and sister Deb and Jess love me loads already. I will catch up again with all of you tomorrow but i'm having to go to bed now as I am wrecked!

Thankyou also to Auntie Glenys and Carol for letting me meet Mum And Dad on Thursday, and i'm glad dear Walt is going to a new home

Hi Millie :hello2:

:2026: Wow, I feel exhausted reading what you have been doing...you have fitted so much in. :bounce:

Perhaps your mum could post pictures of your new shoe designs, she may well be able to sell them with a donation to rescue :1945:

You sounds like you are truly loved and have your paws well under the table already. :love5:

Thanks everyone for your lovely comments. She's adorable :love2: and been forgiven for the new shoe design. She's so desperate to please and so affectionate :love2: . I lay on the floor beside her this morning and she literally climbed on top of me pinned me down with her front legs and paws and gave me a Labrador facial as Ky calls it. The more I laughed the more she licked :1966: I've been out today and got her a new bed, she stood on it did a few turning circles got off and lay on the kitchen floor :dontknow: . She's on it now though fast asleep - phew!

She seems to tire easily at the moment, and has been flat out for 2 hours this affy after a walk this morning. I suppose it's all part of getting into a new routine and a new family. The black bomber (Jess) is back in the morning so no doubt a day of chaos will ensue!
