Frisky Floyd
I can`t believe I`m actually writing this as, due to one setback or another,it`s been quite a long journey since registering with Labrador rescue at the end of last year. However, a week ago today we brought home Floyd from MKF, & he is just a joy & such a good lad.
He has settled in with us very quickly, & seems younger than his 8 yrs. Long walks are no problem & he loves to play with squeaky toys & a ball.
Floyd enjoys socialising with other dogs but unfortunately he does jump on certain ones which is embarrassing & could be dangerous if he did it to the wrong dog! So we are working on correcting his over frindly advances, & have nicknamed him Frisky Floyd!
Thankyou to everyone at MKF for letting us adopt Floyd especially Kathryn for being patient with us.
Hope to put some photos on soon.

Thanks for the update. Floyd (aka Frisky Floys) sound as if he is well settled. Look forward to some piccys.
I only wish we had an update on Bart (the one that got away). I so nearly re-homed him and I would love to know how he is doing.

Lovely update, I'm pleased Floyd has settled in so well. It's nice to know that Floyd is only 8 years YOUNG and I'm sure you will be able to sort out his frisky nature. Looking forward to seeing the photos

Thanks ever so much for that Kathryn. Yes it does help. I'm really pleased Bart is doing ok. I think you know I fell for him in a big way but, the timing was all wrong for us. Thanks again.kathryn wrote:Especailly for Lins Bart is doing ok, his Dad isnt on the internet so he cant put posts on, but he is doing fine and loves to go for long walks with his Dad...
