Jack & Tess on Strathcarron Sgurrs

Post by Nesslabs »

The start of the long walk in from Craig. It was a beautiful spring morning.

After two hours the path steepened

Jack is good at scouting out the way ahead. He smells where other walkers have been and rarely gets it wrong.

It was hot

But there was plenty of water for cooling off

The views were amazing

It was a long and strenuous day in the hills - and the next day the dogs weren't even slightly stiff.

Wow those pictures are amazing! Did the dogs really climb that rockface? We went up Catbells in Cumbria on Saturday and decided not to go to the top as we felt it was too dangerous for Millie as it was very windy and I was scared she may fall. What a great pair of dogs you have there, proper little mountaineers :thumbright:

Amazing views again Kathleen, your two certainly have a brilliant time when you're climbing, how many is that under the belt ( or collar) now.

What a stunning walk, you must all be incredibly fit and how convenient to have the water at the top for a quick doggy dip :1963:

I showed your photos to my husband and his first words were "Good grief, just imagine if we took George and he saw a deer!!" :1962:

Looking forward to seeing your next expedition, the scenery is so spectacular.

It is certainly good to see your photos on here again Kathleen, they are wonderful. That is a beautiful but as you say very strenuous walk you must all be as fit as fiddles.
