Smartie 2 now Elsa!

Post by brendal01 »

Elsa has settled in well and taken over the house. She went to the vets today for spaying, two teeth out, teeth cleaned and claws trimmed and is sleeping it off, snoring very loudly! Her conjunctivitis and wormshave cleared up. Mollie was very pleased when she thought her new housemate had gone... and none-too pleased when she came back! I'm sure they'll become good friends in time.Elsa is a lovely kind natured dog .Thank you to Kathryn and Glenys for letting us take her on trial. We adore her . Mollie is one of the Irish labs, she can be a bit of a diva at times, but she too is lovely and we adore her .The 3 rescue cats are quite overawed by Elsa's sizeand she does take them by surprise when they are sunbathing in the garden!

Here are a few photographs with Mollie and my granddaughter. Elsa always seems to be laughing.

What a lovely update. Welcome to the site. That last photo is wonderful - she looks soooo happy. I do like the prim and proper one of Mollie with her paws crossed!

When you think Elsa has been a breeding machine all her life had given birth to many many puppies till she came to us then you also see what love does look at her she is glowing with happiness.
Thank you so much xx

What a lovely outcome for Elsa, by the way I love her name :love5: She does look very, very happy and she's obviously responding to love and tlc. Just think how miserable it was to have bad teeth and eyes and now she's pain free and loved. :bounce:

My niece took on an ex breeding bitch who was much younger than Elsa (Pippen would not allow the stud dogs to mate her so she was discarded - lucky girl) and she's a wonderful family pet, loves the little boys in the family and is so gentle.

Looking forward to hearing further updates from you and more pics of the lovely Elsa.
