Grayse has officially joined the pack!!
I just want to say how fantastic she is with all the animals here. Her next test will be the chicks when they start to hatch but I do not anticipate any problems as I bought a little cheeping Easter chick and she just sniffed at it.

So today is a big day for her as I have packed her dog crate away. I can leave her in the kitchen with food on the worktop and she does not touch it, this morning I left her in the kitchen with the new lambs and they were fine, she has not chewed anything or destoyed anything anywhere in the house and as she was only going into it at bedtime I now feel she is settled enough to not need her crate apart from when she travels.
I am very proud of her and the way she has settled into our madhouse!!

She really is a lovely girl, and what a wonderful life she is living now, she's great with the lambs,it makes me feel quite emotional.

Must be tired.

Grayse looks amazing. She looks so happy and contented and so very gentle. She looks completely at home in the middle of all those baby lambs. Such lovely pictures. You must be really proud of her at having settled in so well.

Hello everyone we are still around!!
It is the first time I have logged on since Easter as I have been so incredibly busy.
What have I been doing, well I had an extra show dropped in my lap that is in a right state, I have been setting breeding pens up(albeit very late), feeding lambs, judging, showing, as well as the normal day to day running of this place(and believe me there is nothing normal about here!! :1966: )
Grayse continues to be a source of deep joy,she has accepted the menagerie of animals here as though she has been around them all her life.
We spent 2 hours over Easter teaching her how to eat a rawhide chew as she had no idea, we pretended to eat it, lick it, swapped it with the other dogs started ones etc etc then eventually she got the idea and enjoyed it.

What do I do with this?

We are incubating eggs like mad at the moment and of course hatching chicks.

I was only saying to Dave yesterday we hadn't heard from you for a while, it was worth the wait though! Lovely pics, I'm so pleased Grayse continues to fit in with everything you do.

By the way, this just sent itself in, I'm now on edit. Must have a gremlin!
