Grayse has decided that I cannot be out of her sight this meant last night we had been in bed around 2 minutes when the crying started-- this time a loud "OWWW OWW OWWWWWOO" followed by a "woof", this went on once again for about ten minutes when there was a huge sigh and then silence til this morning.
Her snoring really is something else and as Mij is well known for his snoring that probably accounts for the fact that Scooby and Bob have gone back in their baskets for a snooze they probably had little sleep!!

I went to RDA yesterday afternoon leaving her at home with my son who assures me that whilst he watched a film she was as good as gold asleep on the settee!!

She is starting to respond to a whistle very well and comes back most of the time --ok ,she comes back as long as there is nothing worth looking at!! but we are getting there.
Playing is what she lives for especially fetch whether it is a ball or better still a frisbee.
I am most impressed that she has not touched anything in the house, not a shoe, slipper, newspaper or anything the nearest she has come to taking anything she is not supposed to is she could not find any toy to grab as she ran outside yesterday so went to pick up one of my Crocs, a quick sharp " AGH" and it was dropped immediately.
All in all we have alot of work to do but she is very bright and keen to learn (if you can get her to be still) and we have forever.

She is not missing her pups one bit in fact if she could speak she would probably say "what pups?" Carol did say that the last week she was at her house she was not really going near them unless she had to, they are really beautiful pups , Carol and Gracie have done a fantastic job with them and I feel very lucky that I saw and held them as there is something magical about puppies. We now have our own 25 kilo puppy!! who is snoring once again.
probably re-charging her batteries for another day of fun.

Sounds like loads of fun!! She must be so happy being with you.

Oh dear, if Grayse snores so loudly I wonder if her daughter will?! Barney is an incredibly loud snorer, like an old man, we will probably have it in stereo!

Another busy day over.
I am starting to wonder if frisbee throwers arm is a recognised complaint!! She has learnt to drop when I ask her--she soon realised it was the only way to get it thrown again.!!

Gracie has come back to me everytime I asked her today, she is doing so well. I am making a point of calling her first to make sure she is not just following the gang and bless her she comes back even on her own.

She tried to run at the ducks today and when I shouted at her she came back to me all sheepish and grovelling.

At the moment she is in her cage asleep with her head resting on Bob I think that means she is feeling at home--we will see what tonight brings in the way of noise!!

She has not made a mark in the house and has not touched a thing and there are boots, shoes and slippers aplenty for her to pinch but she has not.

Tonight she did not try to go to bed in the chicken shed, she looked up at me as much as to say "shall I" and then changed her mind.
She has joined in all the games of fetch etc with the other 3 but tonight she joined in the rough and tumble, I take this as a positive sign that she is feeling more settled.

The snoring has started--it is a good job you cannot hear it.

Oh Ky I am so pleased Grayse is now enjoying rough and tumble games. A sure sign she is happy and relaxed. It is wonderful to hear about her daily adventures and the great progress that she is making so soon.

Great update Ky I also love to read her daily adventures, she sound as though she's fitted in so well with her new family of furry, feathered and human friends.

A few more pics--not very good I am afraid ,between my silly camera telling me it needs new batteries even though I have just changed them and the fact that as soon as I appear with the camera Mij sits and strikes a pose and Grayse stands in front of me looking up this makes action shots difficult.
This was bed time last night--I think Bob likes her but how he puts up with the snoring I do not know!!

A good night last night only 17 "AWOOOOOS" then a big "Hmph" then silence till we got up at 6.30am. She is getting very attached to me and follows me everywhere--even to the bathroom!!
I keep taking her short jouneys in the car, she does not like getting in but travels perfectly and has started getting out willingly.The barking at noises continues but at least now only at noises from outside rather than noises on the tv, the radio. doors opening(we have suffolk latches which can make a sharp noise). I cannot belive how well she is settling in such a short time.

It's so nice to see her intergrating with your pack, it's just as well she's used to being with several other dogs. Lovely pics.

Lovely pictures Ky what a svelte figure she has there even with her undercarriage, she looks in great shape and very healthy. Great to see her playing with your gang. I think Bob is the comfiest in her cage don't they sleep in some weird positions? She must be tired out.
