Wow these pictures are stunning!! Congratulations on your new arrival. Purdey is just gorgeous and she looks like she is really pleased to have found you all. Here's to many many happy years ahead (with plenty of photos of course )

Brilliant photos, Arlyn, she certainly looks settled. You have two beautiful dogs now you lucky thing. I bet Buster can't believe his luck, they look such good friends.

What a fantastic update. I'm so happy that Buster has finally met his valentine!

As Purdey settles in with us, little traits in her personality are starting to shine through. Her tail goes all the time and she loves cuddles - especially in the middle of the night, when the cheeky monkey has taken to coming up on the bed . She gets chased She also makes little noises which we are still trying to identify, but most importantly she seems happy.

Day off yesterday, so more photo opportunities. First of all we went up to the reservoir, which is frozen over again, so major effort to keep them away from the edge. We took my MIL's terrier Libby - poor wee soul doesn't know what has hit her, 2 big black monsters trying to play with her.






Afterwards, we went to audition for the new doggy version of that old classic "When Harry met Sally", called "When Roddy met Purdey". Most of the photos I took are out of focus, as after the initial meeting, they wouldn't stay still, all I could see was a flash of yellow, a flash of black, flash of yellow, flash of black.....Sasha was predictably grumpy, but Purdey seemed to instinctively know to keep out of her way. Buster was a little upset as for a time it looked like Roddy had a new best friend

Day 10 in the diary room......I still have to keep pinching myself to make sure everything is real Purdey continues to be a wonderful addition to our family. She's a cheeky little thing and I think she would play all day if she got the chance - poor lazy Buster is run ragged - he's not even safe in his ditches any more, Purdey is right in there with him. Buster did seem a little put out after a few days, but appears to have got over that and is speaking to me again We have a touch of youngster nonsense going on - I came home to Armageddon the other day , so we are back to puppy-proofing the house again, not such a big deal, it's not that long since we relaxed over what Buster would steal and chew. Purdey starts her training classes tomorrow night which I'm really looking forward to, as I think she'll do really well.

She really is a stunner

I have missed some of these posts. It was lovely to see Roddy again playing with Purdey. The latest photo's of her are really good, she looks a real little stunner. What a great life she is having.
