Glenys & Co, we'll never be able to thank you enough for allowing this wonderful Boy into our lives. We absolutely love him to bits.
He was just 16 months old-and through absolutely no fault of his was looking for his 3rd and forever home. Charlie had clearly been well cared for, but in both cases the families circumstances had changed, which meant he spent a great deal of his young life alone. He had LOADS of toys-but alas not much company. I understand he spent much of the day shut upon his own looking out of a window!
Charlie settled in straightaway-though he was a little fazed at first-no wonder Bless Him, in the space of just 4 weeks he'd had 3 different homes! He must have wondered who these people were. At first he seemed a little sad, hardly wagging his tail. He was marvellous with Rosie (our 11year old Lab Girl)-letting her go through doors first and having her meal first-he was the perfect gent. We had to have Rosie PTS the week before Christmas, but Charlie coped really well, with lots of cuddles and attention from us.
It is to Charlie's great credit that despite all the upheaval in his young life, he is truly a loving, calm ,kind & beautiful dog. We think he is stunningly handsome

I am pleased to say that Charlie is now a MUCH happier Boy. He's blossomed into a lovely well-balanced tail wagging Boy.Perhaps the best thing is that he now has a cheeky little side to him,and he loves to play and just be with us.
Mum and I have had a very bad year .BUT I can't begin to tell you how much Charlie means to us. He's as beautiful on the inside as he is on the outside-he's very tuned in to our emotions-he comes and gives us a cuddle if he thinks we need it! I can't tell you how happy it makes me just to see him running in the fields, his lovely ears flapping and a big smile on his face.
A few weeks ago we took him to the vets for his annual check up. Charlie was a star! Eveyone in the surgery-vets, nurses, receptionists & clients-no-one walked past him without either talking to him, or stroking him. He just draws people with his wonderful personality. The vet told me " he is a lovely, happy well-adjusted dog".
We couldn't ask for anything more. He is a credit to his noble breed.
We love him to bits!

love Alison XXX
