Grayse has had an exciting weekend, on saturday we did all the usual shovelling of what animals do naturally and lamb feeding and ball throwing and frisbee throwing and walking and phew ......we had a busy day shall we say.
Sunday we were up early(actually we are always up early!!) as we were to go to Barnoldswick to pick up some birds and then to Bradford to drop of some material for the peg bags. Our plans went astray quite early as we had loads of snow --again --on Sunday morning.
Anyway we eventually set off. Grayse has got quite used to travelling in a cage in my car but on Sunday we went in Geoff's car so she had to travel on the back seat in a harness. Grayse was incredible,I thought she would be apprehensive as she had only been in the car once that was when we picked her up. When we were on the small roads she sat and looked out of the window and once we were on the motorway she went to sleep.
We stopped for fish and chips for lunch and I have to own up to letting her have some of the fish as she was so good.
I took her out when we got to as near to Sue's house as the snow allowed and let her say hello. Grayse was very subdued and barked at both Sue and her son and then for good measure one of the neighbours!!
Grayse travelled perfectly all the way and we were travelling on and off for around 5 hours so I was very pleased with her.
When we were on the M6 and went past the turnoff we would take for MKF we did tell her not to worry as she was not going back!!!

It was strange to think that any of her babies could have been travelling the same road at the same time!!
Yesterday saw us at the vets for the second jab so now the real socialisation starts as she is very timid when out and about so we need to work on that.
All we need now is some decent weather as it is snowing again here now.
We are so pleased the pups have gone and sound to be settling well, if they take after Grayse they will be very easy to settle in.
