I'm very pleased with Lady's progress... more of a transformation really.
She appears to have developed a personality of her own now that she is not dominated by Bella. We've just come back from the park where she was running and jumping for joy, it's a real pleasure to see her emerging from her submissiveness and into a character of her own.
I've started to give her 'Previcox' for her arthritis and it seems to be working well, she can't wait to be the first one to dive in the back of the car, and since she's been on them she can now run. She's getting more like an old puppy every day.
Her eye problem has also cleared up, thanks to the Vet, although she will never be free from some inflammation, but the eye drops have worked their magic, and as you can probably tell from the photo's, it's a big improvement.
She is also quite deaf and can't hear me shout or whistle, so I rely on her keeping an eye on Billy and following him, which works ok unless Billy decides to disappear on a 'food scent'!!
So it's good news at present, I just hope she can maintain this level of good health for some time to come, but there again, my Vet says she is probably about 14years old so anything could happen.
I'm quite optimistic though...we've booked a cottage for a week in the summer that accepts 2 dogs !!
If I aquire any more in the meantime I will just have to book 2 cottages !! :D
